Dr Brenton Blakis

Brenton joined the Bli Bli Vet team in 2026, bringing with him a passion for veterinary medicine and a calm, friendly approach to patient care.

He completed his Veterinary Science degree at James Cook University in Queensland and has gained experience across a range of veterinary settings since graduating. Brenton enjoys the variety that comes with being a veterinarian and is always keen to continue learning and developing his skills. His relaxed and approachable nature helps put both pets and their owners at ease, and he takes the time to build genuine relationships with the families he cares for.

Outside of the clinic, Brenton enjoys camping, fishing, and spending time with his pets. A proud cat dad, he knows firsthand just how much our furry family members mean to us.

We’re excited to have Brenton on the team and look forward to seeing him continue to grow as a veterinarian and become part of the Bli Bli Vet community.
